Two officers at DAPA become first active-duty officers to be appointed as court-designated cost appraisers

Two officers at DAPA have become the first active-duty officers to be appointed as court-designated cost appraisers, who are those that provide professional appraisals in specialized areas for the court under the request of a judge. The importance of such professional appraisals have been highlighted in midst of the intensifying complications in court cases. The two officers, CPT (P) Choi Gi-il and CPT Lee Young-jun, are currently serving at DAPA as specialists in the defense procurement and acquisition field.
